A little over a week ago, on Friday October 1st at 7h30, Sophie Lavaud and her team reached the peak of the Dhaulagiri, at an altitude of 8'167 meters.
“We found an impressive amount of snow, and the progression was very difficult. A big thanks to the head team for leading us, and especially to Tenjing Sherpa who opened the corridor to the summit….a summit that will go down in the annals!”
What a fantastic achievement, and what a great lesson in courage and endurance that Sophie has delivered.
