This refuge for lost or injured animals has been open to the public since 1991. It is also a small zoo originally created under the name Parc Challandes. Established in Bellevue, in the canton of Geneva, the Foundation works for biodiversity through various missions:

• Care center and refuge

• Conservation

• Scientific research

• Awareness and education

• Animal-Assisted Intervention

• Breeding programs for conservation

A NEW SITE FOR THE BIOPARC

Bioparc hosts a multitude of animal species, both local and exotic, ranging from monkeys to birds, big cats, and farm animals. Enjoying great success, the park plans to expand with fewer enclosures and more interactions, in the commune of Thônex.

The new facilities will enable an immersive experience in the heart of biodiversity, blending emotions and discoveries to inspire everyone to take action for nature.
